In its second edition, the ARARA Ball held in the last day of carnival brought the festivities to a glamorous end with its lively guests, including artists, musicians, national and international celebrities, who declared the ARARA Ball to be the best party of Rio’s carnival. The ball is a revival of the traditional carioca’s carnival parties, including the samba show of Paula Lavigne and Pretinho da Serrinha named Cantoria, which in 2017 brought special attractions like Caetano Veloso, Alcione, Mart’nalia, Xande de Pilares, and Gaby Amarantos!  The party lasted until the early hours with guests dancing away to a surprise street parade at the break of dawn in Rio’s iconic hilltop neighborhood of Santa Teresa.
